Research Interests

My research focuses on application-oriented chemically crosslinked biomedical materials, covering bioprosthetic heart valve leaflet materials derived from animal pericardium, human amniotic membrane biomaterials, medical adhesives, injectable hydrogels and microspheres, antibody conjugation reagents, and cell purification kits.

1) Bioprosthetic heart valve leaflet materials

(Crosslinking mechanisms and novel crosslinking strategies for leaflet materials; biovalve leaflets polymerized and crosslinked with functional monomers; anti-calcification and anticoagulant technologies together with their underlying mechanisms; dry-state leaflet materials; low-immunogenicity bioprosthetic valve materials; synthetic polymer leaflet materials)

2) Human amniotic membrane biomaterials

(Dry preservation technology; innovative crosslinking methods for amniotic membranes; injectable amniotic membrane powder for osteoarthritis treatment)

3) Medical adhesives

(Solid medical pressure-sensitive adhesives; powder-type medical adhesives)

4) Collagen-based biomedical materials

(Research on the application of animal-derived collagen raw materials in biomedical devices and cosmetics)
