Xu Yong

Xu Yong, Male, Han ethnicity, Bachelor’s degree holder with a Master’s degree, Member of the Communist Party of China. He started working in July 2004. He has successively held the posts of Research Secretary, Academic Administrator, General Office Staff, Vice Dean of Administration, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, and Director of the University Supervision Office. Currently, he serves as the Party Secretary of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Nanchang University.


Xiong Jingwei

Xiong Jingwei, Male, Han ethnicity, born in 1965. He holds a doctoral degree and is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He once served as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, USA.

His research focuses on basic and translational studies of cardiovascular development and cardiac regeneration using model organisms including zebrafish, mice and rats. He has identified a combination of chemical small molecules that promote in-situ cardiac regeneration. He pioneered the establishment of multiple CRISPR-induced (Cas9, Cas12a, etc.) genetic mutant models and molecular diagnostic systems in zebrafish and rats, and constructed a high-resolution genetic map of the zebrafish cloche mutant.
He has published more than 80 SCI papers in top international journals including Development, Circulation Research, Cell Research, Nature Communications, and Cell Stem Cell. He was the recipient of the NIH K01 Young Investigator Award in the United States.
He currently serves as Associate Editor ofCell Regeneration, Expert Panel Member of the National Key R&D Program “Developmental Programming and Metabolic Regulation” sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Standing Committee Member of the Webinar Committee of the International Society for Regenerative Biology, President of the Cell Signaling Transduction Committee of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Zebrafish Society.

Liu Ping

Liu Ping, Female, Han ethnicity, native of Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province. She holds a Master’s degree, is a Lecturer and a member of the Communist Party of China, and is a National Secondary Psychological Counselor. She began her career in March 2014 and has long been engaged in university student education and management.

She has been awarded the First Prize in the National Outstanding Counselor Paper Selection, the First Prize in the National Counselor Professional Competence Competition (Regional Final), the honorary title of “Most Beautiful Counselor” of Jiangxi Provincial Universities, and the “Moral Education Model” of Nanchang University, among other provincial and national honors.

Duan Dehua

Duan Dehua, Male, Han ethnicity, postgraduate education with a Master’s degree, and a member of the Communist Party of China. He started working in July 1999. He has successively served as a counselor, College Office Director, Vice Dean, and Deputy Party Secretary of the college. Currently, he holds the position of Vice Dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Nanchang University. His main research fields include grassroots health service capacity building, ideological and political education for college students, mental health education, and career guidance.


Chen Hongping

Chen Hongping,Male, Han ethnicity, born in 1975 in Xinyu, Jiangxi Province. He is a member of the China Democratic League, holding a Doctoral degree. He is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, and a recipient of the Jiangxi Provincial Young Scientist Training Program.

His research mainly focuses on digestive tract tumors and neuropathic pain. In the past five years, he has published more than ten academic papers as the first or corresponding author in the field of biomedicine. He has presided over 4 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has won one Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award.

Gao Dian

Gao Dian, Male, Han ethnicity, born in 1979 in Xuchang, Henan Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, holding a Doctoral degree. He serves as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, and is a recipient of the Jiangxi Provincial Young Scientist Training Program.

His research mainly focuses on tumor biology, immunology and cell biology. In the past five years, he has published more than twenty academic papers as the first or corresponding author in the fields of tumor biology, immunology and parasitology. Liu Qiong

Liu Qiong,Male, Han ethnicity, born in 1989, native of Shanggao, Jiangxi Province. Holder of a Doctoral Degree, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. Recipient of Jiangxi Provincial Double-Thousand Talents Program, Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award and Jiangxi Provincial Gold Medal Young Teacher Award.

His primary research focuses on the development of vaccines, adjuvants and high-efficiency antigen delivery vector systems against major human pathogens based on bacterial outer membrane vesicles. He has presided over 8 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial/ministerial authorities. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 30 SCI papers in journals including Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, with over 1,000 cumulative citations.
He leads 2 provincial first-class undergraduate courses and 7 teaching reform research projects. Under his supervision, students have won more than ten national-level competition awards, including the Gold Award at the China International "Internet+" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, as well as the National Gold and Silver Awards in the "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competition.
