Research Interests:

The laboratory is conducting in-depth research into the regulation and role of copper-mediated cell death using colorectal cancer cells and organoids. The aim is not only to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms, but also to examine how this process interacts with other pathways, such as ferrocytosis, and how the tumour microenvironment influences this process. Ultimately, we hope to translate these fundamental findings into new combination therapy strategies and biomarkers, thereby providing new insights for the precision treatment of colorectal cancer.
