Research Interests:

My research focuses on the role of fascia tissue in tissue injury repair, regeneration, and anti-aging. I aim to elucidate novel mechanisms underlying skin scar formation and to identify new therapeutic agents that promote skin wound healing and regeneration, providing new treatment strategies and molecular targets for clinical application. Specifically, my group investigates: 1) The role of fascia mobilization in skin wound healing, including the contributions of fibroblast subpopulations, macrophage extracellular traps, and growth factor signaling (Wnt/β-catenin, IGF1); 2) Mechanisms of scarless versus scar-forming regeneration and how distinct fibroblast assemblies determine healing outcomes; 3) Translational approaches, including biomaterials and drug discovery, for improving skin wound repair and reducing scarring.
