On August 21, the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education released the official results for the third batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Courses. The “Human Anatomy” course, led by Prof. Zhu Gaochun from the Department of Human Anatomy, School of Basic Medical Sciences at Nanchang University, was successfully recognized as a National First-Class Online Course. This prestigious national teaching honor represents another major milestone for our school in building world-class undergraduate medical education.

As the foundational “cornerstone” course in medical education, Human Anatomy plays a pivotal role in shaping the professional competence of future physicians. Throughout its development, Prof. Zhu Gaochun has remained firmly committed to the principle of “Strengthen moral education and cultivate well-rounded talents”. Leading from the front line of teaching, he and his team drew on decades of classroom experience, deep subject mastery, and genuine passion for education to continuously refine and elevate every aspect of the course.

The course brings the human body to life through stunning high-resolution imagery of organ morphology, immersive virtual animations of anatomical structures, and clear, engaging explanations that unravel the wonders of human physiology.
