Research Interests

Using multiple techniques of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and bioinformatics in combination with organoid culture and mouse models, we investigate the self-renewal and differentiation mechanisms of adult stem cells of intestine and stomach, and explore the pathogenic mechanisms of related diseases, as well as drug discovery. We also explore how TGF-beta and Wnt signaling are regulated, aiming to understand their roles in stem cell biology, tissue homeostasis and related diseases.
